Today our Year 11’s received their long-awaited GCSE results and what good news it was! Lots of smiles and celebration all around, with a resoundingly brilliant set of results for their first ever public exams.

  • 35 students were awarded nine or more grade 9s, over one-third (59) gained 10 or more grades 9 to 8, and over half of our students (88) attained grade 9 to 7 across all their exams
  • Half of all exams were awarded a grade 9 and three-quarters were awarded either a grade 9 or 8
  • Three students were cited by the exam boards as amongst the very highest performers in the country in English and Art

Head Jane Lunnon is thrilled with the results and says:

‘I’m so proud of our wonderful Year 11 students who, after enduring the challenging years of covid during such a formative time in their lives, have truly excelled in their first set of public exams.

‘We are really looking forward to welcoming them into our Upper School this academic year to continue their studies with a wide-ranging and exciting sweep of A level subjects and to take on leadership and mentoring roles in our community.’

As their journey through the Middle School comes to a triumphant end, Head Mel Joel couldn’t be prouder of our Year 11’s.

‘The fact that this year group of talented and determined students has performed so well in their GCSE exams is testament to their hard work and character. It has been such a pleasure to share their journey as they build their toolkit for success in learning and life.’

Well done to all!
