Alleyn's CCF: Cybersecurity course

This Monday 3 July 2023, our Alleyn's Combined Cadet Force (CCF) took part in a programme called Cyberfirst delivered by our partner QA Ltd. The objective was to help our pupils to explore their passion for technology, by introducing them to the exciting world of cybersecurity.

Some of the highlights included a module called 'Digital Detective', where students were taught to use forensics to identify the first person who contracted a disease. Pupils also had to work against the clock to unlock various devices during the 'Crack the Code' module. To achieve this, they had to get to grips with cryptography, language analysis and learn the meaning of some cybersecurity terms.

We're so proud of our pupils for being so focused, and thanks to Lt Col Benest for organising this fantastic workshop.
