Activities Week - Monday 26th June 2023 to Thursday 29th June 2023
On *Monday 26 June, a group of excited Year 7 pupils travelled to Mount Cook Adventure Centre in Derbyshire, ready for their Activities Week adventure.
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Derbyshire countryside, Mount Cook provided the perfect setting for our pupils to enjoy a carefully curated programme of exciting activities including: canoeing, caving, high ropes, archery and mountain climbing – as well as chats by the campfire. Our pupils were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and explore new sporty experiences. Through these collaborative challenges, they learned the value of effective communication and teamwork. Approaching each day with enthusiasm, a joyful energy and laughter filled the week as they supported and encouraged one another.
As well as the exhilarating activities, the pupils enjoyed many moments of connection and camaraderie. Gathered around the campfire they sharing stories - creating lasting memories.
Thanks to our dedicated and skilled team who organised a fantastic week of activities. Their efforts and commitment ensured a safe and enriching experience for each pupil.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
