Pupils of all ages enjoyed treats together as they chatted in foreign languages in the Junior School Rose building today, discussing ideas for their displays for our second 'Language and Culture Fair', which will take place in March.

There were over 20 languages represented, ranging from the Spanish and French to Korean and Punjabi, with some children speaking three languages or more.

The purpose of the ‘Cosmopolitan tea party’ is to bring together in a relaxed atmosphere the bilingual pupils across all sections of the school, from Year 3 to 13, to nurture existing (and forge new) friendships, to celebrate the wonderful diversity we enjoy at Alleyn’s, and of course, to eat cake!
