Lost Property Drive

The Lost Property Drive, aimed at reducing waste, is organised by the PE Department and Reception to help pupils easily find articles they have lost. It has become a regular lunchtime event, with piles of clothes, kit, water bottles and other items laid out in the quad every few weeks.

Some pupils came looking for specific possessions they had lost while others were pleased to find items they hadn’t yet noticed were missing!

Every item reunited with its owner represents another article that doesn’t have to be bought again, which benefits the environment as well as our pockets.

Belle in Year 7 was very happy to find her water bottle, and commented:

“I was going to buy a new water bottle and now I don’t have to!”

This is just what we want to hear!
