This academic year the Charity Committee has decided to continue our support for Sparrow Schools, a charity that provides education for disadvantaged children in Johannesburg South Africa, and to take on a new charity called Under One Sky. We are also running food collections for Albrighton Fridge on charity days every term, so please do look out for further announcements and get involved!
Under One Sky is a charity that works in London, Brighton and Cambridge supporting homeless people living on the streets through friendship and compassion. They provide food, drink and other essential items, but their main focus is to connect with homeless people. They also educate and enable small businesses and communities to join them in their mission “to end homelessness in the UK and beyond”. Events planned for this term include a dance-off, a Hallowe’en lucky dip, a candy cane sale, a stall at the Holly Fair, and the usual Charity Days. On top of this, there will be lip syncs, Valentine's lollipop sales and Easter egg hunts later in the year. Look out for further details and please participate and give generously.

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
