There is an ‘all’ in ‘Alleyn’s’.

Because at Alleyn’s, we can all become
all we can be.

When Edward Alleyn founded our school it
was to provide education for all those whose
circumstances would normally prevent
such opportunity.

That spirit is in every brick of our building.
The spirit of possibility.
The spirit of enterprise.
The spirit of innovation.

So, let’s encourage, let’s nurture, let’s guide, but
above all, let’s allow every child to find their
own future.

Let’s allow everyone to express themselves on
the stage, the screen, the page or the pitch.

To revel in our time here, to be playful and joyful.
An Alleyn’s education is not a road but a river, not
a hard, straight line but a vibrant, twisting, turning
cascade of experiences, carrying us into the sea
of life ready to be all we can be.

As assured of our identity as much as our intellect.
Why we are here at Alleyn’s is to discover why
we are here in the world.

To become the most powerful version of ourselves.

Influencing the world around us by being
courageous and kind.

Shapers. Leaders.
Challengers. Change-makers.

Not afraid to ask questions to find solutions.

Not to ask ‘Why?’ but ‘Why not?’
Not to ask ‘What?’ but ‘What if?’

For we want to be led not fed.

So, with a sense of self-belief, we can have a
positive effect on those in the next street as well
as the next continent.

Great individuals doing good.

That is why we are ‘all’ in Alleyn’s.

So we can all be all we can be.
