On Tuesday we held a celebration for our Year 13 Leavers at St Barnabas Church in Dulwich.

Accompanied by their parents, Leavers were welcomed to this annual graduation service by the Head of Upper School, Dr Rob Atkinson, and then enjoyed some words from our Head, Mrs Jane Lunnon.

The presentation of Leavers’ Certificates from our Heads of Houses was interspersed with beautiful music from the Leavers’ Choir.

The celebration came to an end with a speech from the President of the Edward Alleyn Club, Mr Peter Yetzes (Tulley’s 1967), followed by closing remarks from Dr Atkinson and a rousing rendition of Jerusalem. Our School Chaplain, Rev Liz Lander closed the service with a prayer for the Leavers.

As a final farewell to their time at Alleyn’s as students, and a welcome to the Alleyn’s Alumni community; the students along with their parents and teachers alike were then all invited back to Alleyn’s for a drinks reception.

We wish all our Leavers the best of luck with their future endeavours and look forward to welcoming you back as Alumni – you are Always Alleyn’s!
