The multi-award-winning musical, inspired by the Roald Dahl book, is about an girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her destiny.
The show was certainly a big hit with all the pupils. Head of Dance, Mrs Demain, said:
“Dancers from Year 7 and 8 were lucky enough to see Matilda the Musical from fantastic seats in the dress circle. Pupils were buzzing with excitement after the show and absolutely loved the choreography and staging. Both year groups have created a performance piece from Matilda in co-curricular Dance clubs so it was so wonderful for them to see the dances come to life in the professional production'.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
