Lee Darby, the School’s Network Manager, wonders if he’s allowed a ‘virtual’ object for the online gallery: the School’s website. The earliest recorded version of the website was released on 2 October 1999, commissioned by the then Headmaster Dr Colin Niven. Since then, the website has undergone a plethora of design and content changes, most recently in 2008. The website is essential for maintaining links with parents, particularly during the swine flu crisis and on the infamous ‘snow days’. It acts as a hub for alumni as well as Alleyn’s Junior School. The website also inevitably acts as an advert to prospective parents.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
