More than 20 recent alumni came back to support Year 12 students and share their knowledge of the next steps beyond Alleyn’s through two Higher Education Days.
The alumni, who all left Alleyn's in the last three years, shared their recent experiences of applying to university, the courses they’re undertaking and the destinations they’re studying at, as well as advice on how to manage the often-daunting UCAS and overseas study applications processes.
Over the two Higher Education days, Year 12s who are interested in going to university appreciated getting the inside scoop on student life and the chance to ask informal questions and gain valuable insight from those studying in the UK and overseas and also those undertaking music, drama, screen and production courses at conservatoires.
Thank you to all our recent alumni for coming back to Alleyn’s. It was brilliant to see you and hear how you are getting on and our Year 12s appreciated your reassuring and encouraging advice.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
