Our Director of IT and Digital Strategy, Matt Britland, paid a visit to the McLaren Technology Centre on Wednesday this week to speak on a panel, ‘How AI Augments Security Strategy’ at the Darktrace Cyber AI (Artificial Intelligence) Forum.

Darktrace is an AI-powered cybersecurity platform that uses advanced machine learning algorithms to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time. It is designed to analyse network traffic, user behaviour, and other key data points to identify potential threats before they can do any damage.

This exciting opportunity enabled Matt to showcase how Alleyn’s is leveraging AI technology to bolster its network security. The event brought together some of the brightest minds in cybersecurity to discuss emerging trends, best practices, and case studies, and we were honoured to be invited to share our expertise and experiences with attendees.

Matt explained how Alleyn’s has been able to leverage Darktrace's advanced capabilities to detect and respond to cyber threats more quickly and effectively. This has allowed Alleyn’s IT Team to stay ahead of emerging threats and minimise the impact of any attacks that do occur.

Perhaps most importantly, Matt highlighted how our school is now more protected than ever before, thanks to your use of AI technology. Matt noted how, since the cyber-attack that hit Alleyn’s in 2019, we have made significant investments in cybersecurity and have implemented a range of best practices to ensure that our network remains secure. These efforts have paid off, and our school is now better prepared to defend against cyber threats.
