Great Britain hockey super star, Sarah Robertson popped in to congratulate the players recently selected for the England U16 team.
Carys and Isy had the opportunity to meet one of their role models for a photo opportunity with Sarah and her bronze medal. Will, unfortunately couldn’t be there as he was representing the school 1st XI football in their win vs Charter North School - highlighting our late specialisation model which Sarah could relate to having grown up committing to both a hockey and football programme. On Sarah’s departure she stopped in to say hello to the year 9 and 10 hockey player who were training during their co-curricular hockey session - what a wonderful surprise for this group of players.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
