The children enjoyed a fascinating alumnus assembly from commercial airline pilot Josh Hawken (Panther's & Dutton's 2002) who had been a Junior School pupil when the school opened and later pursued a career in the navy before becoming a pilot. We heard about the amazing sights that he had seen from the skies around the world as well as the challenges of piloting in extreme weather conditions. It was an amazing talk that may hopefully inspire others to take to the skies at the front of the plane or at least reassure those of us at the back!
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
