As part of the Jubilee celebrations, This Morning's Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby went to Buckingham Palace to join Anna Reynolds (Brown's 1998), Deputy Surveyor of The Queen's Pictures at the Royal Collection, one of the most important collections of art in the world.
The pair met Anna in the Palace’s incredible Picture Gallery, home to some of the most famed works within the Royal Collection - with paintings by Holbein, Rembrandt, Rubens and Canaletto amongst many others. Anna, whose role makes her responsible for the curatorial and conservation departments for oil paintings, watercolours, prints, drawings and photographs, gave some fascinating information about this remarkable room which can be seen on ITV Hub.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
