As our Year 13 students head off on study leave the Year 13 prefects attached to the Lower School bade fond farewells this morning in the Lower School tutor classrooms.

The LS prefects have been coming into the Lower School on Thursday morning tutor time all Year, sometimes just having fun and sometimes tackling more serious topics like gender equality, bullying or mental health. The Upper School prefects have served as role models, mentors and more and the affection between the younger pupils and the students at the very end of their school careers was clear this morning in their farewell celebrations, full of thank you’s and treats all round.

It was a lovely surprise, too that the Upper School ‘dress code’ for today was Superheroes and Villains – the prefects have certainly been the former in the eyes of their young charges, who will miss them along with the rest of the School!
