What a day we all had. It was an extraordinary sight to witness six Land Rovers being driven around a treacherous, wet and muddy assault course, not by the instructors, but by the children themselves. Every child was in total control of their vehicle and after a quick lesson about clutch control, off they went. Apart from 4x4 jeep driving, the pupils took part in a simulated laser tag quest, testing out their shooting accuracy and ability to avoid being caught. They spent time grass sledging at speed down a steep bank as well as stepping out onto a high wire seemingly up in the clouds. The Alleyn’s dispositions were thoroughly tested and the children learnt much about taking on and conquering challenges as well as having a fantastic time.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
