Skiing Trip to Solden

On Saturday 30 March, 32 children and 5 members of staff arrived in the sunny resort of Solden, Austria. The week was an enormous success and the children experienced a healthy range of weather conditions. The beginners showed huge determination to get to grips with the strange planks below their feet and very quickly were skiing in a uniformed snake around the mountain. Those with a little more experience tracked all around the mountain, enjoying the glacier and some slalom racing. Evenings were filled with lots of laughter and lots of good food.

The children made great progress throughout the week and overcame the big challenges put in front of them. The instructors praised the children’s behaviour and manners and how well they represented the School.

A big thank you to all the staff who made the trip happen and we very much look forward to next year in Passo Tonale, Italy.
