The children listened enthralled to a special assembly from American astronaut Dan Tani who visited the School at the invitation of our scientist-in-residence, Dr Kevin Fong.
Dan brought space travel to life by describing his journeys on the Space Shuttle, his space walks and then his stay in the International Space Station. It was truly inspirational for the children to hear from someone who had literally travelled millions of miles, been somewhere that so few in this world have experienced and seen the Earth from a whole new perspective.

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
