Alleyn's hosted an area heat of the Quiz Club Key Stage 2 General Knowledge Competition in the Great Hall in the Senior School. This is a national competition between prep schools with teams of four children (containing children from each of Years 3 to 6). The children use their voting pods to answer 40 multiple choice questions that appear on the big screen and are able to confer. Our two teams were in amongst the top few positions throughout and at the end finished second and third of ten teams. Our second team now progress through to the semi-finals based upon the strength of their score in the area heat. Well done to everyone who took part.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
