1st XI Cricket Team vs The Forty Club

"The 1st XI welcomed The Forty Club on Wednesday for a deceleration match. Several pupils made their 1st XI debut and performed superbly. Patrick Wright (Yr 8) stepped in as wicket keeper and took a superb catch. James Gray (Yr 11) was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets as The Forty Club set a total of 231 to win. With the bat there was plenty of determination on show. Christian Gray captained the side for the day and put in a fine performance top scoring on 56. Despite being bowled out and losing the match it was a fantastic learning experience for a young 1st XI, who will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with in years to come."

U15 Cricket Team progress to Semi Finals

"The U15 team had a successful victory over Emanuel School in a very competitive game which displayed some high quality cricket by both teams. An outstanding 50 runs scored by Ruby set the tone for an epic contest. This was followed up by four wickets and a catch by Meg, two wickets for Chloe and two outstanding run outs by the team. A brilliant day in the field for the girls led well by captain on the day, Claudia. The team progress to the semi final of the Surrey SOCS Cup and will play Reigate away."

South of England Cadet water polo competitions

"Our U13B team water polo players had an exciting Monday afternoon, competing in one of the South of England Cadet water polo competitions, hosted here at Alleyn’s. We entered two mixed teams and after a combination of wins and losses in the groups stages, ended up facing each other in the 3rd/4th playoff! It was such a fun afternoon and so brilliant to see so many of our Year 7 and Year 8 players competing and representing the school for the first time!"

Athletics competition

"The intermediate girls had a sensational day out at the regional round B finals athletics competition at Croydon arena, where they finished 1st in their pool.

Solar-powered by the hottest day of the year, they were phenomenal on the track - with highlights being Holly's perfectly paced 800m, Carys' electric 200m and Meg's sprint finish in the 1500m. On the field, Issy continued to show exceptional form in the shotput, an event in which she's currently breaking competition records, throwing over 12 metres to take the win. Bella and Indigo both set personal records in the High Jump, whilst Aviyah showed off her blistering pace and power in the long jump. Overall, the girl’s consistency, work-rate and athletic prowess led them to accumulate 381 points."
