Seven Alleyn’s teachers have signed up to follow the eduCCate Global course, to learn about Climate change and facilitate more schemes of work focussing on the environment and sustainability in a broader range of subjects.

We also hope that this ongoing training in climate change education will prepare our pupils for net zero transition jobs. As fossil fuels are progressively phased out on the way to net-zero, the types of jobs that can facilitate this transition will become much more prevalent.

The new team of teachers represent a range of subjects and they aim to disseminate what they learn across the curriculum. So far, the teachers who have started the course are:

Aidan Sproat-Clements, Assistant Head - Director of Studies

Ann-Katrin Bott, Modern Foreign Languages

Jenny Seed, Psychology

Joanne Platten, Art

Julie Franco, Physics

Kate Owens, DT

Stephen Keeler, Psychology
