Kit, in Year 12 spoke first on plastic pollution in the Thames, after fielding questions on the use of wet wipes and so-called biodegradable wet wipes.

He was followed by Nate in Year 13, who spoke on Biodiversity, and all the things that could affect it. Looking practically at what we can each do, he stressed changing our diets and changing how we buy and dispose of clothes.

Pupils’ asked further about the impact on the environment of the production of leather.
