Hosted by Mr Piper, Director of Drama, Tom Glenister (Tulley's 2014) & Zrey Sholapurkar (Brown's 2019) returned to Alleyn’s to share their stories and experiences of applying to drama school. Speaking to current year 12 and 13 students, the two actors told their stories of how they had gone from playing a mushroom in an eco-friendly play at Alleyn’s (Tom) and playing Julius Caesar (Zrey) to securing places at drama school.
They shared brilliant advice, encouraging current Alleyn’s student to ‘find the school which works for you and fits you’ and to ‘be open, say yes and give in to the ridiculousness.’
A big thank you to Tom and Zrey for coming back and giving back.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
