The Junior School children celebrated a terrific Number Day at School on Tuesday 4 May! There were Heads and Tails number games full of fabulous number facts, extremely lively and innovative challenges courtesy of The Problem Solving Company and an extraordinary range of topics covered in the poster making activity.
Unlike last year, when we were all at home and separated, it was fun to come together (albeit virtually from classrooms) to celebrate the day and announce the winners of the poster competition, as well as guess the answers to a Teacher Fact Quiz. The posters were a feast of information from fast cars, space travel and sports to baking, chess and nursing. The children were clearly inspired by their own take on this important and vital subject.
A big thank you and well done to everyone for such enthusiasm and energy.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
