The annual Architecture Private View was held on Wednesday 26 February in the Lower School Atrium.
Architect Paul Swift of Maich Swift Architects, who recently designed and built a pavilion, delivered a presentation on his practice and went on to select three winning Year 8 models, which were announced on the evening.
The exhibition was the culmination of a Year 8 art project, focused on exploring contemporary architecture and specifically the concept of pavilion design. Pupils created an exciting range of works that showed creativity and a strong understanding of form and structure. The exhibition showcased a pavilion model, as well as a photoshop visualisation of what each child had created, setting their structure within an environment.
Congratulations to the three joint winners, Dominic, Izzy and Natalia!
