This week was the ‘Big Sing’ and the children had a wonderful day of singing together with Belham Primary, Elm Wood Primary and Heber Primary Schools along with our Early Morning Choir. The children sang brilliantly and it was an exciting experience to have so many children on the stage at one time.
The variety of songs from each school was impressive, from True Colours (Elm Wood) to I'm Still Singing (Belham); from Amazing Grace (Alleyn's Junior) to Diamonds (Heber). As a finale we all joined together for the The Big Sing Choir's rendition of Singing In The Rain. It was a really fun and joyous occasion and we are already looking forward to repeating this event next year.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
