Paul Sherlock, Housemaster of Tulley’s since 1993, has proposed the Victor Ludorum trophy. This is the annual trophy contested by each house during the school year and was introduced by Paul in 2002. The winning house is determined by the amount of points it has won throughout the course of the year in inter-house sporting events, within years 9-13. Paul is delighted to report that his house, Tulley’s, has won the trophy in the past seven years. The house-system was introduced in 1907 and there are eight houses at Alleyn’s: Brading’s, Brown’s, Cribb’s, Dutton’s, Roper’s, Spurgeon’s, Tulley’s and Tyson’s.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
