2019 marks the 400th anniversary of Edward Alleyn's College of God's Gift, founded in Dulwich by the celebrated actor, entrepreneur and benefactor.
In the four centuries since 1619, Edward Alleyn's original vision for exceptional education has developed into several schools across South East London, as well as the original Chapel and Almshouses in Dulwich.
At Alleyn's, we want to celebrate this astonishing story, and to work to build an during legacy which echoes our Founder's own.
It is, therefore, with great pleasure that I introduce this overview of all the commemoration, celebration and ceremony that 2019 has to offer, as we welcome the community for the free All@Alleyn's programme of lectures, performances and workshops, and launch our 400th Anniversary Campaign: Growing Bursaries for the Future.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
