One of our Year 6 pupils spent time with Lucy Hough, a former pupil of Alleyn’s Senior School and now a journalist working for LBC radio. She recorded her winning poem, 'Still remembered, never forgotten' submitted to the Never Such Innocence Writing Competition. The recording acted as an introduction to the two minute silence and was broadcast on LBC Radio on Sunday 11 November as part of the World War One commemorations to an audience of two million people.
