On Tuesday 18 June we will welcome cook, food writer and Alleyn's alumna Sophie Wyburd (Tulley's 2012) to the MCT at Alleyn's to talk about her forthcoming book, Tucking In: A Very Comforting Cookbook.
This title, Sophie's debut cookbook, is an ode to comfort food. Whether it is a bowl of something warming for a friend on a Tuesday night or squeezing a crowd of ten around your table in mismatched chairs on a sunny Saturday afternoon, Sophie's recipes make cooking a non-stressful, casual affair. Most of these recipes can be made within 30 minutes, or prepped way in advance, to make the whole act of cooking as relaxed as can be be. All of the over 100 recipes in Tucking In are simple, hearty, comforting and generous - and will never leave you hungry!
