School Council convened their first meeting for 2023-2024 on Tuesday of this week. Gavel in hand, Chair, Skye Richarz and Deputy-Chair, Chloe Masson facilitated discussion around several topics affecting our student body. Mrs Lunnon engaged in driving solution-oriented conversation with the representatives.
School Council representatives across all year groups advocated on behalf of those students who have lunchtime co-curricular clubs and considered ways to make the transfer time between lunch and activities shorter. The group explored ideas to encourage more accountability within the student body, with a particular focus on ensuring that the shared essential spaces reflect our ROCCK values; School Council addressed a range of practical and necessary areas of student life.
Our students are the pulse of the school; this platform is vital for our student body representatives to voice their ideas and actively participate in the life of their school.
