Year 8 Netball Tour to Cardiff

Year 8's three-day netball tour to Cardiff was an exciting adventure filled with training sessions, friendly matches, and some memorable off-court activities. Here's a recap of our journey:

**Day 1:**

Our trip kicked off with a fantastic training session led by the talented NSL Cardiff Dragons player, Leah Middleton, held at the impressive Cardiff University facilities. We were able to learn from a professional and improve our skills right from the start.

In the evening, we headed to Hollywood Bowl for a fun game of ten-pin bowling. We must highlight Mya, who achieved a winning score of 110! Afterward, we returned to the hotel to catch the England vs. South Africa rugby game, although the outcome was not in our favor.

**Day 2:**

Leah Middleton continued to guide us in another productive training session, helping us hone our netball skills further.

We had a friendly match against the local Cardiff team, Cherubs Angels, where our team showcased excellent teamwork and sportsmanship.

The day took an exciting turn as we embarked on a tour of the iconic Principality Stadium, guided by the knowledgeable Hugh. We learned about the history and grandeur of this incredible venue.

Later in the evening, we had another friendly game, this time against CTK, another local Cardiff team. Our performance was commendable, and we showed great progress.

Dinner featured a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese, and then it was time for our talent show. Congratulations to Miss Chambers' team for their victory, celebrated with muffins!

**Day 3:**

Our last day in Cardiff began with yet another valuable training session, this time with Wales U21 player Milly. We ended the tour on a high note with a final session to enhance our skills.

With newfound knowledge and experience, we departed for home, leaving Cardiff with a greater passion for netball and a host of wonderful memories.

Overall, Year 8's netball tour to Cardiff was a tremendous success. We thank all the players and coaches for their hard work and dedication and look forward to implementing what we've learned in our future netball endeavors.
