Alleyn’s School is a 4-18 co-educational, independent day school in Dulwich, London, England.

Impact of Giving

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our supporters, both individual and institutional, whose kind contributions are vital to our tireless efforts to shape and deliver innovative partnerships, to develop the School site for the benefit of all, and to provide life-changing bursary funding for talented children.

The impact of our culture of giving is substantial. Since 2010, we’ve doubled the number of young people we support whose families would not otherwise be able to afford an Alleyn’s education.

We are proud that currently more than 1 in 10 of pupils at Alleyn’s Senior School receive help with fees. Like all our pupils, they leave Alleyn’s as kind and curious young people, ready to make a difference to the world in their own special way.

In September 2023, we welcomed a record 23 new children to whom we are providing help with fees, at an average of 95%. This academic year we’ll be funding over £2million of means-tested financial assistance, including covering items such as uniforms, school meals, IT, trips and travel.

We’ll also continue to offer educational initiatives such as the ground-breaking Alleyn’s Digital Academy and to provide free community access to our facilities (over 1,500 hours in 22/23), reaching thousands of participants from local schools and other community groups in the process.

But, we’d love to do more. The importance of our work continues to grow and each year we receive more applications for financial support than we can meet. We’ve set ourselves ambitious goals to help bridge the gap. All levels of support are gratefully received and carefully directed to ensure maximum impact.

Our goal is to continue making a difference to young people at Alleyn’s, and beyond, in the years to come, encouraging them to be all they can be. Supporting us will extend and enhance our vital impact. Please consider it.
