Regular admission to the School occurs at 4+, 7+ and 9+, to join Reception, Year 3 and Year 5. Registration is open from 1st September to mid November, in the year before potential entry. Assessments are made in January with a view to offering places to children who show the potential to make the academic progress required to enter the Senior School at 11+.
For the prospectus, admissions policies and information about assessments, please see Prospectus, Policies & Application.
The application period for potential admissions in September 2017 is now closed.
Alleyn's Junior School pupils have automatic entry to the Senior School but they still sit the scholarship/entrance exam with all other candidates; they are expected to make up about one-third of the Year 7 intake. More information about Senior School admissions can be found here.
Our pupils come from a wide social and ethnic spread. In our entry we look for candidates who will respond to the School's care, opportunities and values, and who will, in return, contribute to the School with their talents and enthusiasm.
Occasionally, places arise in other age groups; please direct queries for prospective pupils outside the usual entry points to the Registrar. For more information please contact the Registrar at email@example.com.
